Lovely ladies on art journal pages

Hello,
I like to colour stamped images with alcohol markers. Those pens took a bit of practice, but nowadays I find them quite easy to use. I have my own style in colouring, without aiming for a too realistic looking finish.

The image to be coloured may very well be a digi stamp; I think a digital image is as nice starting point for my art as a hand stamped one. Quite often I just enjoy colouring without a finished project in mind. If there is not an immediate need to create a card, the coloured and fuzzy cut images are stored in a box before I use them on cards or art journal pages.

This above lady is a wonderful design by Mi Mii (link to her Instagram page). I had a pleasure to enjoy her talent from close distance in Carabelle Studio design team; her drawings and projects were amazing! Even if that wonderful design team no longer exists we still follow each others creative journeys đź’—

For the background I used another great Carabelle stamp, a design by Edwige Verriere. I loved her Carabelle designs; just look at her inspiring Instagram page

For this second page I used a digital stamp by A Day For Daisies. I purchased quite a few of their designs some years back, but then their business got really quiet and new images are apparently no longer released. They still have a Fb page and a web page, but the last postings are from 2 years ago. Hope they're continuing their business in some other way; the images were really beautiful!

The background pattern is gel printed and stencilled with acrylic paints.

This third page showcases a fun digital image by Vera Lane Studio. I love her unique style; her images are always fun to use on various types of projects. You can get her designs in digital format in Etsy or as clear stamps by AALL&Create.

Page background is painted with acrylic paints and stencilled with white gesso. I believe I created this patterned paper for ATC card backgrounds, and was left with a piece that was perfect for this project.

All the above pages were nice to create; perfect colouring and crafting mindfullness!
