Today I'm sharing you a scrapbook page with a quite limited colour palette. The background paper by 49 and Market had a nice soft green main colour and lovely flower and leaf patterns, so I continued that nature theme with my additional embellishments.
For simplifying the matching of the photo to the layout colour pattern I printed the photo in black and white. Some of you may recognize the letter stickers I used for the title; those AC felt letter stickers are ancient! 😀
I like these machine stitched frames a lot, and I use them quite often on my pages. Sure I could sew them myself, but I'm too lazy to take out my sewing machine just for this kind of simple sewing task. Hopefully someday I'd have a crafting room with enough space for a 'sewing table', with the sewing machine on the table, ready for use all the time!
There are several layers of elements, but the page is not bulky at all. I tend to be very practical with my scrapbooking projects; I don't allow the project to become too thick as the page needs to fit into a plastic sleeve and into a storage binder 😊. Only the flower is lifted from the background with foam squares.
Wishing you a nice weekend. Stay happy!
