Today I'm sharing a scrapbooking page with a simple layout but a project that I'm very happy with. The reason for the moderate embellishing was the beautiful background paper by 49 and Market (Spectrum Sherpet collection); the lovely soft tones and beautiful patterns did not require too many elements for the page to become interesting. This time less was more!
The photo is one of my favouries from several years back. I think it matches well with the calm and soft general look of the page.
The green leaves/branches are transparents, and the blue ones paper die-cuts. They work really nicely together!
Using light blue and grey inks I added some stamped texture patterns on the background. Not much, but just a hint here and there.
