Scrapbooking layout: A bit of everything!

Hi!

As you may have noticed, I like to use floral embellishments on my pages. The flowers can be of various type: purchased die-cuts, stickers, chipboards, fuzzy cut images, or even stamped and coloured images. Flowers are often layered on the page, but even if there may be lots of flowers, I try to avoid making the page too busy and leave enough empty space around the page focal points.

Well, sometimes it's nice to push the boundaries a bit and craft in a somewhat different style.

This layout was inspired by the beautiful and fairytale-like patterned papery by 13 Arts. The flowers, branches and cute fairies are fuzzy-cut from an page included in the paper set. Some of the flowers are lifted from the background with 3D stickers.

The colours of the picture matched nicely to the background paper and especially the floral embellishments. The photo was taken late summer 2021 on our oldest child's confirmation date. Proud parents celebrating that special day!

The page is busy and there's a lot of this and that. Nevertheless, I like it. And I'm happy I stepped of of my comfort zone, enjoying the colourful ride!
