Hello!
I love to attend crafting events, but I also like to take online classes as they are easier to fit into my sometimes busy calendar. I have attended virtual workshops of many companies and teachers, and most of them have been really nice and good value for money. Recently one company's workshops have been my absolute favourite: Pinkfresh Studio Create and Connect virtual events. I have already attended four C&C events:
I love to attend crafting events, but I also like to take online classes as they are easier to fit into my sometimes busy calendar. I have attended virtual workshops of many companies and teachers, and most of them have been really nice and good value for money. Recently one company's workshops have been my absolute favourite: Pinkfresh Studio Create and Connect virtual events. I have already attended four C&C events:
- May 2023 Scrapbooking
- September 2023 Holiday cards
- November 2023 winter themed scrapbooking
- May 2024 Scrapbooking
Here's a collection of layouts I have made in those classes. I have not yet completed May 2024 projects, so these layouts have been instructed in the previous 2 scrapbooking classes.
The Pinkfresh Studio workshops are bit expensive and the shipping rates are bit high, too, but I still think they are worth the price. The workshop kits contain a generous amount of supplies and not just papers but also stamps, stencils and dies. The workshop videos are of good quality and the recordings are available right after each class. Workshop preparation tasks are clearly instructed and each workshop is also supported by written instructions. Excellent!
The workshops are quite popular, and discussion in the event private Fb group is always very lively, nice and supportive. It makes you feel that you really are a participant of a group event, and not just taking an online workshop at home.
The workshops also use cut files (like was used on the above layout). As many participants may not have the possibility to cut the images themselves, the kits have contained ready-cut images. How nice and thoughtful!
The cut files are shared with the participants, so those who have a cutting machine can use the files also after the classes.
The first four layouts are created on Paige Taylor Evan's class a year ago. She's such an amazing instructor! These projects were super fun to make; I also picked up many new tips and tricks for my future projects. Nice!
On the November 2023 workshop weekend we created Christmas themed layouts in a class by Anett Gelencsér. I love her colourful style and very pleasant way of teaching. Her instructions are very easy to follow.
I'm not a big fan of symmetry, but I like it a lot on this below layout. I added a chain stitched frame; since the class by Paige Evans I have been doing a lot of stitching on my projects đȘĄ
Don't these workshop projects look nice?
On the Pinkfresh Studio website you see the current event schedule. It seems to be I need to wait until 2025 for the next scrapbooking event as this autumn looks to be reserved for cardmaking. Hoping that the wait won't be too long!
