Hi!
Singapore is one of my favourite travel destinations. I have visited the city twice on business and once on vacation with my family.
The last visit was in August 2023. After the long working week we spent our day off sightseeing and going around the city. A mandatory stop was made at Bayfront metro station where I took selfies in front of the floral panel walls, just like I did in summer 2017 on my previous Singapore visit.
The background paper is 'Modern Romance Coral' from 49 and Market collection 'Vintage Artistry Colors'. I decorated the background with rub-ons from the same brand and small bits of Tim Holtz tissue paper.
The colourful flowers are stamped with Pinkfresh Studio stamps, coloured with alcohol markers and cut with a matching Pinkfresh die.
The second Singapore layout has a bit different look and feel. The picture was taken on the Singapore Flyerduring our 10 day family vacation in July 2017. We fell in love with that warm, sunny, safe and clean city!
The patterned background paper inspired me to replicate the patterns and to create similar elements on the page; leaves, hearts and dotted areas.
The city skyline is a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die.
On our vacation I also had the opportunity to attend a scapbooking class (why not, LOL!).
It was instructed by lovely Aida Haron in one of her stores, and I loved every minute!
After a short chat we realized that we shared many common friends and had both been designing for a while for the same Sizzix design team! How small is this world!

I like both pages as they remind me of the nice days in that wonderful country. It's difficult to say which one I like more as the layouts and styles are very different.
Which one is your favourite?
