Hi!
Another fun project with AALL & Create stamps!
One month ago I spent an amazing weekend in Egersund Norway: I had the true pleasure to take several classes by Louis Nelson, who's minimalistic, powerful style has always inspired me. She's such a lovely person and a wonderful teacher, and I will remember this weekend for years to come!
Thanks to AALL & Create, I'm so happy that I and other Louis Nelson fans now have the chance to work with her designer stamps. The images are so versatile, and I'm sure I'll use them for cards, art journal pages, and scrapbooking layouts!
This time I wanted to make a monotonous card on craft card base, keeping the colour palette to minimum. This lovely stamp by Louise Nelson is simply gorgeous, and for highlighting its beauty I did not want to use too many additional elements.
I started with stamping and coloring the main image. As usual, I colored two images on the same go.
For colouring the background I used white gesso and a brayer. Added some stencilled and stamped patterns on top, and finished the background with machine-sewn stitches.
I'm happy how the projects turned out. Hope you like them, too!
For these cards I used the following AALL & Create supplies:
Stencil #41
Stamps #117, #130, #133
Wishing you a wonderful day!
These are both gorgeous Elina. I really like your idea of colouring up 2 images at the same time.
