I made a cute kitten card to for a dear friend:
Here's how I made the card:
I first traced a large letter C on a piece of white cardstock. The trace line would help me in aligning my flower patterns.
I created a couple of masks from a post-it note, and stamped leaves and flowers on the C shape using masking stamping technique.
Once the flower wreath was finished, I fuzzy cut it out.
Using a water brush and my craft mat as palette I colored the flowes with pink Memento ink.
I glued the flower wreath on a piece of patterned paper. Before gluing I added a hint of color on the paper using pink and purple Memento inks.
For highlighting my cute main kitten image I gently white washed the flowers with white gesso. The layer of paint is really thin, but it yet allows the main image to pop.
For coloring the kitten I used my Promarkers.
I think the sentiment text is a perfect match to my floral background and the cutest kitten. Hope you like it, too!
For this project I used the following supplies:
Imagine: Memento Dew Drop 'Rose Bud, Lulu Lavender, Angel Pink, Tuxedo Black.
VersaFine Onyx Black
Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps: 'Kitty Fun', 'Feet Flower Large & Small', 'Friends Like Flowers'
Wishing you a wonderful day! Please join us again tomorrow!
