Hi and happy World Card Making Day!

Thank you for stopping by in my blog! I wanted to share with you a set of cards I made using the lovely Joy Clair stamp set 'Gnome Is Where' and Imagine inks:

I started with stamping, coloring, and fuzzy cutting images, using this super cute set. Aren't those gnomes just adorable!

The background of both cards is a piece of white paper I colored with blue and mint color inks. I applied a few thin layers, mixing the colors together with a soft circular motion.

For the white clouds I used clear VersaMark embossing ink that I applied on the background with a small brush. I brushed just simple random strokes to give the clouds a nice natural look. Then I covered the clouds with white embossing powder and heat embossed them.

Then the only thing remaining was the assembly of the cards. The bottom of the card is a piece of an old Crate Paper paper that I thought was just perfect for my cards:

I used the same layout idea for two differend sized and shaped cards. I think they both looked quite nice!

When the cards were ready I realized that I had a few fuzzy cut gnomes left. They ended up on a pair of ATC's:
