I can't believe it's already August! After a week my kids will be going back to school, and I will be returning to work after my long summer vacation. However, great things are still on the horizon: Next weekend my friend Minna and I are arranging a great crafting event, which is going to be something way more than just a crop: A 'Journey to creativity' with several workshops, and two of them will be hosted by Finnabair!
Another great thing about August is that the summer break in Allt Om Scrap blog has ended :D . Today we start with an inspiring sketch by Sandra Przybylska I loved working with:
I started with adding some white and pink paint on the background with a brayer. Once dry I glued down a piece of vellum and a strip of patterned paper on top. I loved the Crate Paper patterns, and continued its branch and flower images by stamping them on the layout background.
The photo frame is cut with this Sizzix die from white wash cardstock. I did not want the background patern to show too much through the frame, so I die-cut a circle from vellum and placed is underneath the photo.
The text is printed on heavy office paper. The font I used is Aracne Condensed.
Wishing you a nice and sunny Sunday. Thanks for stopping by!
Herkkä, kaunis ja upea leiska.
ReplyDeleteKiitos Lena! Tämä leiska syntyi suurella mielihyvällä kuin itsestään - joskus palaset vain tipahtelevat helposti paikoilleen :)
